Warranty

Every Shyre bike is covered by a lifetime warranty on the frame and forks, and a two year warranty on all other parts.

Frame and forks

If the frame or forks fail, we replace the bike rather than the part. The cover lasts for as long as the bike does, and it transfers with the bike. If you pass it on to a younger sibling or sell it when they outgrow it, the next owner keeps the cover.

Everything else

Wheels, drivetrain, brakes, saddle, seatpost, handlebars and other components are covered for two years from the date of purchase.

Wear and tear is not covered. Tyres, brake pads, grips, cables and the chain wear out with use, and how quickly depends on how much and where the bike is ridden. Damage caused by accident, misuse, modification or a lack of routine maintenance is also outside the warranty.

Registering your bike

Please register your bike to activate the warranty. The cover runs from the date of purchase rather than the date you register, so registering later does not shorten it. If the bike changes hands, ask the new owner to get in touch and we will update the registration so the cover stays with the bike.

You have 90 days from receiving your bike to request a return. See our returns policy for how to arrange one.

Making a claim

Send us a photograph and a short description of the problem and we will take it from there. We are a family in Shropshire, not a call centre, and we would rather sort something out than argue about it.

None of this affects your statutory rights.
